Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Wonderful little restaurant a little bit away from the "main tourist area". We had wonderfully fresh Paella, it was a nice and calm street with cozy outside seating. Service was lovely, and the food was amazing. Definitely worth a visit."
"Perfect dinner. Everything was amazing. Try the dorada fish in salt, they will make a show cooking for you. Amazing experience and very low prices. Best sangria in town."
"Absolutely amazing restaurant. Service was brilliant, and the food was out of this world. Best Paella in Cala d’Or. 30 minute wait for the main as it’s cooked fresh but so worth it. The free entrées were a nice touch too. Highly recommend the sangria as well, was amazing. All round great experience"
"Very good Spanish tapas at a cozy atmosphere surrounded by beautiful bougainvilleas. The only reason for not giving it a 5 was the octopus a la gallega we ordered which wasn’t anything especial. Would still go back."
"It's tucked away a bit off the beaten track but only a very short walk from the main drag. As the name suggests, the restaurant is on the corner of two streets and has tables set out in both. It was fairly busy when I arrived, and I opted for a seat inside. The waitress brought me a menu, and I ordered a small jug of sangria, bread with alioli, chorizo in Hell, and a pizza. My sangria was freshly made. It was delicious and packed a bit of a punch. Next, I was served a small bowl of diced, grilled meat as an apetizer before my orders arrived. My bread arrived first, accompanied by a bowl of olives and a bowl of alioli. The bread was warm and fresh, and the alioli was whipped into a deliciously light mouse. I could have eaten a bucket of the stuff. My starter, the Chorizo in Hell, came as small individual Chorizo sausages, skewered and mounted on a ceramic pig with burning flames licking around them. These were great. The skin was hot and crispy, and they were really tasty. My pizza came next, and having finished my sangria, I ordered a large beer. The pizza was superb. A nice thin crust, which was cooked well, so not sloppy in the centre as some tend to be. I had to admit defeat halfway through my main and asked for the rest of my pizza to be boxed to take away, which they happily did. Throughout my meal, the waiting staff were very attentive and full of smiles, even though it was a very busy evening. I would definitely recommend El Rinco for some delicious food, in a really nice atmosphere."
"Service was great, especially given there were just two waiters for the whole restaurant. Food was good but not great. I had the salmon spaghetti but I'd probably choose something else if I went again."
"Been coming here most of the week for excellent coffee and today came back for dinner. So glad we did. Mixed tapas and salt baked bream. Best meal we have had in ten days. Paella is best on Majorca"
"Very great food here! We had very good beef, good paella and great dessert cake! Service was friendly, funny, skilled and fast along the way. From time to time they looked a little stressed but handled all orders right and professional. Recommend this restaurant because it is very tasty and not in the very busy tourism area more on the outer side."
